Remote Learning tasks for students isolating at home:
READING
BOOK REVIEW
Mini Lesson:
Think about a book you have read this year that you really enjoyed.
Main Activity
Create a BOOK REVIEW of the book, telling the title, author/illustrator, a plot summary (don't give away the ending!) and your opinion and rating
You can do this as:
a Book Talk (write it and film yourself telling about the book)
a written Book Review, using your own format or by printing or copying one of these templates
Then do one of these options:
More independent reading
Work on your reading goal
Create a new Reader's Notebook Entry
WRITING
CELEBRATE
Mini Lesson:
Think of all the great things you have achieved or improved in this year!
Main Activity:
Create a text that celebrates one of the things you have achieved or improved in this year - it might be a poster, a letter, a story, a comic, a poem, a picture, anything at all!
