Using Minecraft as a class and during lessons enabled students to connect and learn from one another. We as a class were able to learn and share computer skills to build and design an ideal urbanised community. In order for this community to be successful, our class had to keep in mind what resources would be needed. Through out the building of this sustainable community we constructed a bunch of resources such as, a hospital, town houses, community pool, RSL Club, houses, roads and much more. Within the constructing of these things, the class kept in mind correct spacing and convenience for each object build.
Not only did this experience teach us about urbanisation, we have been given the opportunity to extend our computer skills and knowledge. Lessons like this are extremely recommended and are engaging for students. This different type of activity is benefitting students and teachers as peers become attentive and interested in interactive work.
