Counselors' Corner

Hello! 

Welcome to the EPJH Counseling Webpage.  Our role as counselors is to provide support, resources and assist with scheduling, as well as help students with personal or peer issues they may have. We also serve as advocates for students and we help facilitate communication between you and your child’s educational team. If you need a parent/teacher conference, feel free to contact us regarding this. It is important to us that you are involved and have a good understanding of your child’s educational needs. As counselors, our goal is for each student to develop socially, emotionally, and academically, and we strive to create a safe and positive environment in which each child can accomplish this. Having a junior high student can be stressful and may require some direction, especially if they have recently transferred to our campus, or more so if newly transferred into our district. We want to help you feel supported and empowered as a parent. We can help identify resources to assist you through this school year. At the end of their 8th grade year, when your child is ready to go to high school, we will also be there to help with any transitional adjustments or questions you may have. We are in my offices Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Feel free to give us a call or you can also reach us via email at any time. Sometimes email proves to be the most efficient way to communicate. You are welcome to call, leave a voice mail, or email us.
