Course Description

Course Length: 2 Semesters/UC A-G Course Approved

The objective of this course is to provide students with the fundamental concepts of marketing and business principles in the scope of amateur, college, and professional sports. This course is devoted to learning the various functions and foundations of marketing and to set the stage for further study in marketing in higher education. Students will define marketing, explained the marketing concept, explain market research, and make marketing connections that will allow them to understand the economic impact of sports and entertainment.
