ASSIGNMENTS

An overview of weekly assignments is attached below. Assignment details, and supporting documents can be found online in Google Classroom. Students will use their student Gmail account to log into the class site. It is the student’s responsibility to check Google Classroom to stay current with course assignments.

Homework Policy

Homework is defined as independent practice or preview of skills and concepts taught during class. It excludes independent reading, unfinished class assignments, projects, and test preparation. Students should manage their time to complete class assignments, projects and independent research to meet assignment deadlines.

Late Work Policy

Students that need to make up work due to absences have time equal to the number of days of their absence to turn in late work as well as schedule make up tests/quizzes. Late work will be accepted within 5 days after the due date with a ten percent (10%) penalty applied to each late day. Students having extenuating circumstance that require missing a scheduled assignment, presentation, test, or quiz must notify the instructor and make prior arrangements for fulfilling that requirement.
