About CREATE
CREATE, contributions to Research in Engineering and Applied Technology Education are a group that brings together researchers from across the Technological University Dublin and beyond who are engaged in education research in engineering and technical discipline areas. CREATE supports and fosters education research at a postgraduate and professional level. We aim to nurture, develop & support excellence in STEM education research, as an interdisciplinary research group which includes education researchers from a wide range of disciplines, including physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science and sociology
About CREATE
CREATE researchers are involved in a wide range of STEM education research areas. The three main branches of the group consist of a mathematics research group, a spatial skills research group and an engineering & society research group. The group currently work with a total of 13 PhD students using a broad range of research methodologies, including phenomenography, phenomenology, collaborative action research and grounded theory.
