Letters of Recommendation

Letters of recommendation are sent with Transcripts. To request letters of rec to be sent, click here.

  • Students should request a letter of rec in person first, then electronically using Naviance

    • Students requesting a teacher recommendation should complete the "Student Profile for Teacher Recommendation" in Naviance

  • Students should request a letter of rec 2-4 weeks before the letter needs to be submitted

    • Maximum of 2 requests from HRHS teachers unless otherwise specified by the college's admission office

      • Talk with your counselor or Post Grad if you have questions about how many letters of rec you should request

  • Counselor recommendations

    • If you are requesting a letter of rec from a counselor, you must complete the "Student Profile for Counselor Recommendation" in Naviance

  • Students using Common App

    • HRHS uses Naviance eDocs to submit documents with Common App

      • All requests should be completed using Naviance

      • Do not request letters of recommendation using Common App

    • Students using Common App must match their Common App account to their Naviance account in order to submit letters of recommendation
