What is the Post Graduate Center?
The primary purpose of the Post Grad Center is to assist seniors with their plans beyond high school and answers questions regarding the college application process.  Printed reference
materials are available to students researching their college choices.
ACT/SAT test practice materials and registration instructions can also be found in the Post Grad Center.   The Post Grad Specialist keeps electronic files of student documents including recommendation letters, transcripts and other required forms within our Naviance system. College applications are online and students are expected to apply electronically. Students planning to attend vocational training, join the work force or join the military service, will find there are helpful resources for those choices, as well.

College Application Process - Students must request official transcripts 10 school days before a College deadline using the Transcript Request Form available on the Post Grad Forms & Documents tab. Each transcript request costs $1.00.  Colleges now require that ACT and /or SAT scores be sent electronically, directly from the testing agency.  Once a student has decided where they will apply, they should refer to the process outlined on the College Applications page.

Throughout the school year, particularly before Fall Break, Admissions Representatives visit our Post Grad Center to meet with interested students. These visits are listed on the College / Other Visit Calendar which can be viewed on the tab above.  Colleges and universities also host evening and weekend information sessions at various locations around the Metro area.  These sessions are noted in the calendar with registration requirements listed in the event details, when necessary.

Students should sign up for college visits through their Naviance account.  Click here to access the Naviance log-in page.  A Username and password are required to log into Naviance; if students have forgotten their log-in information, they should ask the Post Grad Specialist or their counselor for assistance.

Student Athletes who are interested in participating in sports in college, should read the information regarding clearing requirements on the NCAA & NAIA Info Links tab above.  Both NCAA and NAIA Clearinghouses require any ACT or SAT scores to be sent to them directly from the testing company.

Underclassmen are always welcome to use the college resources available in Post Grad, as well.
