Volunteering
To make this program a success, we need parent involvement and we have plenty of opportunities! We are asking that one parent/guardian of each cast member sign up for at least one item. Please contact Mr. Solway at bsolway@d118.org or Ms. Mellendorf at nmellendorf@d118.org to let us know how you can help out.
Our needs include the following tasks:
Costumes
Availability: January, February, & March, after school (3:00-4:45 pm) during rehearsals for sizing and selection.
Availability: April during rehearsals (3:00-4:45 or 6 pm) and performances (elementary and/or evening) for assisting students with costumes, hair, makeup.
Photography
Availability: Tuesday, April 22 during our final dress rehearsal (4:00 pm to 6 pm). Please provide your own photography equipment.
Concessions: Water, snacks, candy bouquets & flower bouquets
Availability: Performances on April 25 & 26 at 6:15 pm and April 27 at 3:15 pm.
Setup in advance of those times.
Water, candy bouquets and flower bouquets will need to be purchased and prepared in advance of performances and setup.
Serve Dinner
Availability: April 25 from 3:30 to 5 pm.
Food items will need to be ordered from local restaurants/groceries in advance.
Items need to be brought to MMS on April 25 at 3:30 pm.
Tickets, Flower Bouquets, & Candy Bouquets at the Door
Availability: April 25 & 26 -- 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and Intermission (for candy/flower sales)
Availability: April 27 -- 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and Intermission (for candy/flower sales)
Multi-Purpose Room Seating Preparation
Availability: Performance on April 25 at 5 p.m.
Task: Label chairs with row and seat numbers.
Cast & Crew Ice Cream Sundae Party
Availability: Monday, April 28 at 3:00 to 4:45 p.m.
