Mindfulness

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment with openness and curiosity. It is staying in the present moment and not thinking about the past or future.

It has a variety of research-backed impacts, including reduction in stress, improvements in job satisfaction, emotional regulation, and focus.

Kids will learn about what mindfulness is by none other than… kids! In this video, kids explain what mindfulness is, why it’s important and how they can practice it. In the Calm Body Calm Mind video, students will love this fun mindfulness song from their favorite Netflix Jr. characters! They will will learn to calm their minds and bodies when they are experiencing strong emotions.
