Practice Records

Individual practicing is a critical part of musical development.  The practice records are a way for our students to develop good individual practice habits and a way for me to be able to give a grade for student effort.  (Whereas the playing tests are a way for me to give grades for proficiency).  

The students will turn in a practice record about once a month.  They begin on the first Monday of the month and end when the next practice record begins.  Before the students turn in the practice record, a parent has to sign the bottom as acknowledgement that the student has been practicing as indicated on the practice log.  

Here are the due dates for the 2026-27 school year:   10/5, 11/2, 12/7, 1/4, 2/1, 3/1, 4/5, 5/3.  Practice records will begin in September.  You can download another copy of the practice record or practice record instructions below.
