Cities around the world
We studied about places in the city and how to use "there is..." there are..." to talk about them. So, the students researched about cities around the world they would like to meet and presented them to their classmates. We all wanted to travel after the presentations!
Thanksgiving
Our Thanksgiving Day was celebrated with a play.

Then, we wrote things and people we are thankful for on mapple tree leaves and put them on the school tree!
And to finish we all had a delicious Thanksgiving lunch!
Veterans Day
After doing all the activities mentioned on the Veterans Day page, I asked the students to read their digital books to their classmates. This activity allowed them to show what they had learned about the holiday.
In the end, some students even read a poem to thank the veterans who have bravely fought in so many batles.
