The Kids Klub
Kids Klub Parents,
It was announced earlier today that Texas schools will be closed the remainder of this school year. Due to this, we will begin processing refunds from your March payment, starting next week. We do have to process those individually, but we will get them processed as soon as possible. If you enrolled your child in our Kids Klub Spring Athletic Programs, that fee will be refunded, also.
As of right now, Kids Klub Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is scheduled to open on July 15 at 10am. As with every year, families must enroll each year. Registration is open to CSISD students enrolled in the upcoming year in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
For families that were planning on attending Summer Day Camp, we do not have a determination on if we will be able to open for camp this summer; therefore, registration has been postponed until we can make that determination.
As members of an amazing community, we know this uncertainty is stressful, but we will update as often as we get new information. We love our jobs and love to serve our kids and families, so these and future decisions are made considering all factors.
We miss everyone and please stay safe!
We are excited to announce both Kids Klub and our sister program, Summer Day Camp, were both selected for the Reader's Choice Award for after school and summer programming!! Thank you to all who voted and who have allowed us to serve their family!
An After-School Adventure
Kids Klub is an enrichment and recreation based after-school program operated by College Station I.S.D. Our purpose is to provide quality, after-school programming for the families of College Station at an affordable price. Our goal is to put forth experiences that foster positive development that will carry into academic and behavior success in the classroom. The program serves school-aged children kindergarten through sixth grade students at each elementary and intermediate school in the College Station Independent School District.
Kids Klub participants are grouped according to grade to ensure their engagement in age-appropriate activities; kindergarten - 1st grade are assigned to JR Club, 2nd - 4th to SR Club, and 5th-6th are grouped together on the intermediate campuses. Each day once students are accounted for, they will transition through outside free time, gym games, small activities (i.e. crafts, small games, tubs, board games, computer), and optional homework time. Kids Klub is unable to provide formal tutoring, but we do facilitate the opportunity for students to complete their homework.
Wednesdays are dedicated to providing enrichment based clubs. Our clubs are designed for small group interactions with an emphasis on one particular theme or subject area. They are scheduled in six week modules and will rotate throughout the year. Please visit your student's specific site information page to view the current clubs being offered.
