Make-up Assignments

Make-Ups:  

Classes missed for any reason (appointments, illness, vacation, etc.) need to be made up within 10 school days of the absence.  It is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements with the teacher to make up the class.  Several options are available.  Non-changers will NOT be allowed to participate and will not be able to make-up lost credit. 

Type of assignment(s) will be left up to teacher discretion

Medicals:

Students who are unable to participate in PE for a medical condition must produce a written note from a physician to be excused from class.  Short term medicals should be made-up within two weeks of returning to school.  Long term medicals should be made up within a time period agreed upon by the student and teacher.  Make-up assignments are available in the PE office as well as the Coventry High School website under Physical Education Department.

NFHS Make up assignments:

All students need to register for a free account on www.NFHSlearn.com in order to complete make up assignments. Once registered, students can access the library of NFHS approved videos that cover various topics from Sportsmanship, Vaping and E-cigarettes, Mental Health, Name Image Likeness, concussions, and sport specific options. Once students complete the assignment, they are responsible for sending the Certificate of Completion with their name and date of completion to their teacher within 10 school days of the absence.
