Kindergarten Care Class

Puppy is a "helper" in kindergarten  Care class.  The students LOVE puppy.  At the end of each lesson, children have the opportunity to hug or give a high 5 to puppy before we leave.  They often ask if Puppy is a boy or girl - we may never know!

Kindergarten students meet once per week for Care lessons.  Lessons are approximately 30 minutes in length.  

Interwoven in Care lessons is an exploration of different types of breathing that can be used to calm down or reset in order to be available for learning and getting along with others.
