Write a letter, blog, or email to make a difference. Find something you care about and write a persuasive letter to encourage change. Some examples may include saving an endangered specie, promoting alternative ways to use energy, encouraging your grocery store to carry organic products, animal cruelty, fast food contents, etc. When writing, make a claim, support it with evidence, and explain your thinking! Show off your math skills and solve problems. RESEARCH DATA. Use life experiences to practice math, which you will need to use in science class. Estimate the bill at a store or restaurant. Figure the cost and change when buying items. Notice and estimate time for traveling. When making and serving food, practice measurement and fractions. Make conversions whenever possible.

Explore what you don't understand. Experiment to find the answers to questions you have. Observe the sun, moon, and stars. Take a walk and notice the rocks and formations. Notice the plants and animals in their habitats and their specific adaptations. Take pictures and post them below! While traveling, reading, or watching the television, notice the culture, natural resources, agriculture, history, geography, economy, and population specific to the different regions of the United States and globally. Compare our culture with others.
