Honors Art 2D (Advanced)

Honors art exposes students with a high interest in art a more advanced focus study. More advanced techniques and medium combinations will be explored. Projects/work will be completed in hope of having a portfolio at the end of the year. It is a requirement that students use the time and complete all assignments since this is a higher level course. Serious art students should inquire/enroll. Prerequisite: Visual Art II (Intermediate)

Block Schedule Grading (one semester long course:

Focused Works: 30% of total grade

Sketchbooks+Research: 40%, used for assignments as well as brainstorming

Studio Habits+Critiques: 30%, class readiness, use of materials, class critique participation (every 4 weeks)

Final: 20% specifics will be announced later in the year

HONORS will be offered during S2 2021
