THEATRE AUDITIONS
Theatre Auditions will be held on January 20, 2024 at the Thomas Dale Main Campus.
Audition time slot registration information will be announced after CCPS Applications are received and students are invited to audition. Please ensure the email address(es) provided on your CCPS Application are correct and accounts you check frequently to ensure receipt of audition registration information in a timely manner.

Theatre Audition Synopsis:
Applicants should:
Prepare (memorize) one of the following monologues in THIS DOCUMENT. We encourage you to pick the piece that demonstrates individual strengths and style as an actor. We strongly encourage you to read the whole play to be familiar with the character and context.
Applicants are encouraged to attend a Virtual Pre-Audition Workshop Event before auditions to get to know our upperclassmen and for tips to help with your audition piece! Details will be posted on the SCFA website and emailed to each student who applies one week before the meeting.
On the day of the audition:
Dress professionally.
Bring a photograph of yourself. Professional headshots are not required.
Be prepared to answer questions regarding their motivation to attend the Specialty Center for the Arts to study Theatre Arts.
