ART AUDITIONS
Visual Art auditions will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Thomas Dale High School Main Campus.
Deadlines to register for a portfolio review will be announced after CCPS Applications have been received & you've been invited to audition for the program.

Portfolio Requirements
Applicants must provide the following in the portfolio:
5 to 7 of their strongest pieces of artwork from the past 2 years for review.
Work should portray a wide variety of range and techniques.
Students are encouraged to bring a variety of mediums; however, they MUST demonstrate drawing and/or painting in order to be considered.
Photography and graphics (digital art pieces) are not required, but are great additions for supplementing the portfolio.
One three-dimensional / sculpture piece for review. If the 3D piece is too large to transport (ie: mural or large sculpture), an 8”X10” photograph will be acceptable.
Presentations should be neat and orderly.
Portfolios will be reviewed by a panel of professional Art Educators.
Applicants should be prepared to answer questions regarding technique, concepts, areas of interest, and motivation for choosing the Visual Art Specialty Center.
