Unit 5- Populations

The study of populations looks at many aspects of populations, both in nature and as part of the human population. We will be studying how populations change through time, how a population can be regulated, the demographics of a population and population control. Using this information, we will do an examination of the human population and how it has an impact of the health of the earth. Students will look at aspects from earlier parts of the school year such as sustainability, resource depletion, energy, weather and climate and mining of rocks and mineral. Does our population pose a threat to the health of the earth?
