Unit 4- Cardiovascular System
Throughout this unit, we will be studying the heart and the flow of blood throughout the body. Students will learn the structures and functions of the heart, the difference between arteries and veins and their roles in the human body, and the roles of systemic and pulmonary circulation. We will also be dissecting a sheep heart in this unit as well as learning to take blood pressure and the significance of that measurement.
