Art Honors Society

Art Honors society (AHS) is designed specifically for high school student in grades 9-12. Our Art Honors Society program was designed specifically for high school students, for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability in art. Our program strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

Our BWHS mission: To inspire and guide students to use art as a vehicle to speak to others.

This three day project was only achievable because of the hard work of the students and Mr. Ron McClure's awesome staff helping us paint the bathroom's ahead of time so we could just get down to the art of things!! Restroom Mural - 2012/2013

Thanks to all the wonderful help from the students. These bathrooms took three full days of intensive work to complete, but were 100% worth the effort. What an impactful legacy to leave behind for future students. Congratulations to everyone!!

Toy Train Build/Delivery 2012/2013

This was a joint effort between wood shop and a small group of NAHS students that focused on kids building, painting and delivering toy trains to both local BW schools and the Ronald McDonald House charities. Our kids were extremely thankful to be a part of this project and for delivering smiles to those families we met at the Ronald McDonald House.

Spring Day Mural

The spring day mural was a huge success and with complete thanks to the BWHS students!! NAHS designed a mural that was completed by Maxson's Drawing I, II classes and then sent out for painting during spring day. It was made available for any student in the school to paint on regardless of ability and we had a HUGE turnout. The mural hangs proudly in the front of the building to be seen by all.
