Donna Young, K teacher (and web designer)

I am a Colorado native, having grown up in Louisville. I have been teaching at Creekside since 2005 - two years as a literacy tutor/teacher and kindergarten since 2007. Both of my amazing children attended Creekside K-5th! My daughter, Alex, is a play therapist who loves supporting neurodiverse and twice exceptional children and their families. My son, Noah, is a musician. He loves everything guitar, singing, cheese and chocolate. My wonderful husband, David, runs his own IT business, Free Range Geeks, here in Boulder. My favorite things about Creekside are the diversity and family-feel of the school. I have a BA in psychology, an elementary K-6 teaching license, a Master's in Literacy and Curriculum Development K-12, and a Master's in Multicultural Education K-12 - all from CU Boulder. I love teaching kindergarten because I get to explore, learn, and laugh every day with my school family. For fun, I love to read, hike in the mountains, travel, play board games, create projects with all kinds of art materials, spend time with my family, drink tea, and eat potato chips!

Jeri Dowe, paraeducator extraordinaire

Jeri is a Colorado native and has two amazing children who attended Creekside K-5th, James and John. Jeri even attended Creekside for kindergarten and first grade when it was Martin Park Elementary! For fun, Jeri likes to drink coffee, eat chocolate, and play games with her sisters and mother.
