Volunteers

We love volunteers!

All volunteers must complete a BVSD district volunteer background check. Please visit the Creekside website to find out information about volunteering or click on Volunteering in the Schools. Do background checks at the beginning of the year so you are ready for events, field trips, and helping in learning spaces/classrooms!

Volunteering in the K classrooms usually begins in October so we have time to build our school family community.

Here are some ways that you can volunteer:

• • help children read/write during literacy

  • support children during math

  • support the PE, music, art, and library teachers

  • help support teachers and children with special science and social studies activities

  • go on field trips

  • help out during special K and whole-school events
