You should receive an email generated by Schoology that looks something like this: >>>>>
Clicking on the link will take you to a Schoology login page. (You could bookmark this page)
Use your email address and the password given to login.
Note: Schoology will only create one account per email address. If you share an email address the account will only be in one caregivers name.

1... Click on your name in the top right corner
2... Click on Settings

You can either use the login link sent in the email (https://schoology.burnside.school.nz/login?school=904105548),
OR alternatively search schoology.com and choose Login.
3... Under Account Settings you will be able to:
Add a preferred first name
Put in an alternate email address
Check the time zone is correct (Pacific/Auckland)
Change your password (perhaps use your Parent portal login password?)
4... Under Notifications you can decide whether you want notifications about activity on Schoology to come to your email and/or phone.
Putting the Schoology app on your phone.
We recommend putting the Schoology app on your phone if you wish to receive push notifications of updates to important whole school news. This will be one form of communication that may be used in the case of an emergency.
1... Search for the Schoology app in your app store.
2... When you open the app you will need to log in and will need to click CONTINUE to go through www.schoology.com (not through the school)
