Year 3 2025

Hello Year 3 students in 2025!  Here is your Studio page...just for Year 3.

Here is our waiata for Term 3 which we are going to perform at the Full School Assembly at the end of the Term.  It is called 'Haere Mai' which means 'welcome'.

See if you can copy the actions these students are modelling.   Be careful to use your left and right hands in the right places!

Now here's your music piece for the Week 10 assembly that the Year 3 team will be leading.  You will need to practise playing three notes on the recorder - B, A and G.  Remember to leave your thumb covering the hole at the back all the time and make the three notes with your left hand while your right hand holds the recorder right at the bottom.  Blow super softly all the time and if your recorder makes a crazy squeaky sound it means some air is leaking out so blow softer and make sure you are covering the holes properly with your fingers!  I can't wait to hear how great you sound!
