Try and learn all the kupu (words) first and then focus on actions.
We hope you have a fantastic experience being part of this group and proudly performing for our school.
Girls, here's a clip that would be good for you to watch and to practise with. It will help you get used to holding your poi at the right length for you to use easily and teach you the basic movements. Try and do a little bit of practice each day and you'll be amazed at how quickly you improve.

Here's some videos of the actions for our waiata and haka. Try and do some practice - even just a few minutes - as often as you can as repetition will be hugely helpful to your learning. When you can, practise using your performance voice as clearly and loudly as you can. Have fun!
