It is the companion to her first book, MY WHIRLING, TWIRLING MOTOR. see Classmates Annik (Gagnon) and Nick Smith's announcement about helping out current students in need via the Student Emergency Support Fund, which provides assistance for such things as:
financial assistance for students facing food insecurity away from campus;
resources for students who need help with the transition to remote learning, such as internet connectivity, computers, specific software needs, course materials and other educational expenses;
unexpected medical, dental and vision expenses, including medical expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic for students not on campus; and
long-term storage payments for many students who had to leave campus with little time or capacity for transporting all of their belongings.
Students and fellow alumni can benefit professionally from your or your company's experience. Have you checked out BrownConnect? Might you have an opportunity for a summer intern or be willing to do informational interviews? Check it out here. It's not just for students--any of us can use this resource!
Did you know about the new Health and Wellness Center on campus? Here's an article about how that project is coming to fruition even during a time when so much is on hold.
I dont believe this has a Brown connection, but it does have an 80s connection. I found it posted on the Class of '86's site. Join Choir!Choir!Choir! for CHoir!ntine!, an 80s singalong on Sunday night, May 24th (TONIGHT!) It's also viewable on Facebook.
and finally...did you know there's a section of the Brown Alumni Magazine where you can scroll through Class-of-87-relevant news? (neither did I!)
