The Class of 1987 did what no other 30th Reunion class had done before for our class gift: set the dollar, Leader, and participation records!
We raised $3,777,275 from 691 donors (47.4%) with 77 leader level gifts of $10,000 or more and were awarded the Class of the Year award in 2017 for our commitment to the university and especially to current and future students and faculty who benefit from the funds raised (as well as the many other reasons we're so awesome)!
As we bask in the glow of our 35th Reunion, our Class Gift Committee* is working tirelessly to again make our best effort in supporting current and future faculty and students.
The Reunion Class Gift is comprised of unrestricted current use gifts and multi-year pledges
made by June 30, 2022 to the Brown Annual Fund. The Brown Annual Fund includes:
• The Brown Fund
• Professional School Annual Funds
• Athletics Annual Funds
so you can make a gift that's meaningful to you and still contribute to our Class Gift.
(click here to see more)Have you heard about the 35th Reunion "Grand" Participation Challenge?!?
A generous member of the Class of 1987 will donate an additional $1000 for every new donor (who contributes a gift in any amount) to the Class Gift by June 30th, up to $150,000. With your help we can hit our ambitious goal of 35% participation by June 30th. Remember, $150,000 is on the line! You can indicate a gift during the Reunion registration process or make your gift online here .
Thank you for your participation in supporting the class gift effort, as we celebrate our 35th Reunion, May 27-29, 2022!
WHY IT MATTERS
We hope you will consider making an Annual Fund gift in support of our 35th Reunion. Brown relies on alumni participation to provide immediate financial support for the University’s top priorities. Your gift, regardless of size, is critical to enhancing the student experience, supporting faculty research, and sustaining financial aid. If we contribute collectively to the Brown Annual Fund, our overall impact on the entire Brown community will increase significantly. We all benefited from the generous support of alumni donors while we were in school, and by making a reunion gift, we have the opportunity to do the same for this generation of students.
To make your gift, please go online to www.gifts.brown.edu or contact our staff liaison, Josh Travis, Senior Leadership Giving Officer, at Joshua_Travis@Brown.edu.
