Our students took on the challenging production of "Into The Woods" as their school play and delivered a spectacular show. Our Windsor Terrace Middle School Musical Theater students have worked very hard to bring you the most interactive production. On Fridays, the Willy Wonka Production team has been working hard on building props, and set-pieces for the production. The Production team is headed up by Bailey Star Assistant Director, Elliott Van Ryzin as Stage Manager, and Saul Kivowitz as Assistant Stage Manager.
Our Windsor Terrace Middle School After-School program has been selected to participate in DYCD’s Broadway and Beyond: Broadway Cohort. DYCD has partnered with the Gilder Lehrman Institute’s EduHam program to give NYC youth tools, access and a platform to re-examine and retell history. NYC Youth will reimagine and rewrite history incorporating storytelling foundations to build out quality performance pieces in song, theatre, spoken word or rap. All of our enrichment clubs teamed up to be a part of this semester's culmination. You will see student faces from BOTH of our middle schools, very exciting! We had students from both campuses submit AMAZING talent, from short story creations, spoken word poetry, dance performances, and much more. Huge thank you to our students and activity specialists!
Screen Time: A Time-Traveling Show is a musical adventure through time that explores the complex relationship between culture and technology by examining our past. Young Judy is a middle school student obsessed with her smartphone. But, after a TikTok mishap renders her beloved device useless, a chance encounter with her mysterious neighbor and his magical record player opens Judy’s ears and eyes to a world she never knew existed.
