Removing an iPad From Your iCloud

When turning in your school iPad to the Technology Department, if you’ve connected it to an iCloud account, we won't be able to work on it until you’ve removed the iPad from your account. Here’s how you can help us:

On your iPad, go to the Settings App, tap the area on the left side with your Account Name (shown in the first image below), then go into your iCloud settings (shown in the second image below).

Now find the setting for "Find My iPad", if it is On we need to turn it Off. Tap the setting (shown in the first image below), turn it off (in the second image) and confirm your identity by entering your Apple ID password (shown in the third image).

Finally, go back to the Account Settings page (shown in the first image below) and then tap "Sign Out" (shown in the second image) and, if necessary, follow any steps to confirm.
