If you are setting up your SMARTboard for the first time, or if it is having problems with accuracy or writing on the wrong screen, it needs to be Oriented. Go to the SMART Settings for Orienting and many other settings that can be used to customize your experience and troubleshoot problems.
The best place to start is in the SMARTboard Settings.
From your computer, down by the notification area, find the SMART icon, and right click it.
Choose "SMART Settings" to open it.
If your SMARTboard is not connected, run the "Connection Wizard"
Use the option to "Orient/Align the SMART Product"
If your Orient screen is on the Monitor, rather than on your SMARTBoard, press the Spacebar to switch it to the correct display.
Use a SMART Pen to tap the red crosshairs until all have been completed.
