Check the power button

Locate the power button on your monitor and make sure it is on.

Check the power cord

Locate the power cord on the back of your monitor and make sure it is plugged to to the monitor. Make extra sure, many time the cable works its way out but still looks attached.

Some monitors lock up.

Unplug them and plug them back in. Then turn them on.
