High School Computer Courses

Computer courses in high school are arranged on a four year cycle, allowing students to choose among eight different courses during their high school years at BMS. The table below gives the courses and their years:

Middle School Computer Courses

Middle School students will be introduced to the following computer skills and technology during Grades 6, 7, and 8.

• • Keyboarding (each year with emphasis in 6th and 7th grade

  • BMS Cloud (each year) - students will receive instruction how to access their Google App account

  • Computer programming with Alice

  • GIS/Computer Mapping

  • Computer programming with Scratch

  • 3-D Design with SketchUp

  • Computer Animation with Flash

  • LEGO Mindstorms robotics

  • Claymation digital story creation

  • Digital movie creation with Windows Movie Maker
