Google Workspace for Education Transition Site: Transfer and Takeout

If you want to save your data from your Blake account, here are some options.

1. Transfer your Data Google. If your personal Google account has sufficient storage space, this the easiest method for moving your school data.

A. This requires that your personal account has sufficient storage to complete the transfer successfully.

B. Your personal Google Account needs to for someone 13 years of age or older.

2. Download your Data. Download your data (Requires additional steps to access and use data). It is more complicated, time-intensive, and cumbersome.

3. Use a Paid Third-Party Service such as VaultMe. VaultMe is designed specifically for graduating students or employees leaving a school who will be losing access to their school Google accounts and takes the hassle out of managing your transfer. However, it is a paid service. VaultMe is not affiliated in anyway with Blake.

Note: Middle and Upper School Student using Hapara and Google Drive

  • Files created and managed in a Hapara class folder are not available via Google Transfer or via Google's Takeout service (download). You can select the files to "Download As" and then upload these files to your personal account. This is due to a limitation in the Hapara service.
