Gear

All skiers must have gear that fits them: 

• Skis, boots and poles

• Helmet and goggles 

• Gloves or mittens, winter outdoor pants 

• BHS team parka - managed by Friends of Belmont Skiing (FOBS)

Additional optional racing gear: 

• Slalom and Giant Slalom skis

• SL & GS Poles

• Shin & pole guards

• Chin guard for their helmet -- often the racer puchases this at the same time as the helmet. 

Racing gear is different than recreational gear and is generally sold by shops like these. 

Ski shops near us

Ski Haus and Sun & Ski have been helpful to other racers, the team does not have a direct partnership.  Rogers has been our partner for the yearly ski sale.
