Students are responsible for making sure their applications are complete and include all required materials for the scholarship they are applying for (e.g. transcripts, essays, etc.)

Bayer Built Woodworks Scholarship 2024
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must be a student of Independent School District #2364 and a senior at Belgrade-
Brooten-Elrosa High School who is planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution. The scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board, books or other education expenses. To receive payment of the scholarship, a recipient must complete one quarter or semester of classes and be enrolled for classes for the following quarter or semester. Upon showing proof of enrollment, a check will be written to the student and the school he/she is attending. The scholarship must be used within one year of graduation from BBE High School.
After you complete your sections of the application, forward it to the teacher you have selected to complete the "Applicant Appraisal" section of the application form. Please ask the teacher to return the application to the school counselor by April 19th, 2024.
Kensington Cares Scholarship
Scholarship requirements
Current 3.0 GPA or above
Enrolling full-time in a 2-4 year college/university or vocational school
The scholarship will be paid directly to the college/vocational school on your behalf
Completed applications must also include a copy of your most recent high school transcript and must be turned in to your high school counseling office no later than April 15, 2024

What Academic Achievements/Honors have you received (grades 9-12)?
List your extracurricular activities (grades 9-12), specifying the years involved for each and any leadership positions held within these.
Tell us about your community involvement and any volunteer activities (grades 9-12), specifying the years you participated in them.
Explain how your community involvement and volunteer activities benefited your community and how you grew individually through the experience as well.
In a one-page essay, please tell us about your academic and career goals and how growing up in the Belgrade - Elrosa area has shaped you into the person you are and empowered you to fulfill your goals and overcome whatever challenges you may face ahead.
Christianson PLLP Scholarship
Christianson PLLP is a community-minded firm wanting to provide two deserving students with a $1000 scholarship to help this student advance their accounting education. Students that are planning on attending colleges, universities, vocational or technical schools and pursuing a degree in accounting may apply.

Women in Public Finance Minnesota Chapter
Identify as female
Have graduated from a Minnesota high school in spring 2024 or will attend a Minnesota higher education institution in the fall of 2024
Have at least a 3.0 GPA or equivalent;
Exhibit leadership skills through extracurricular activities, volunteer positions, community service, internships and/or other work experience
Indicate an interest in pursuing a public finance related career, which may include the fields of finance, banking, government, non-profit, or legal work related to finance

St. Cloud Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation
The St. Cloud Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation will once again be awarding Student Scholarships for the current school year. There will be a total of SIX (6) SCHOLARSHIPS awarded, each valued at $2,000!
The Senior High School students must meet all academic requirements to graduate by June of 2024. In addition, the students must have applied to either a two-or-four-year accredited educational institution or technical college at the time of application. To apply:
Student must complete the enclosed scholarship application form. Applicants should type or print clearly and use the space provided on the form to answer the questions (use additional sheets of paper, as needed). Photos and other material relevant to the student’s application are welcomed.
Submit a typed essay describing your candidacy as a possible recipient of a Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation Scholarship Award.
You must provide a recommendation letter from a Teacher, Counselor or Principal on school stationary that validates the student’s application.

2 $1,000 Scholarships to students who are interested in majoring in Natural Resources.

Kandiyohi Corn & Soybean Growers Association Scholarship
Criteria: Link to scholarship attached.
1. Applicant should be pursuing a postsecondary education in an agricultural related field.
2. Preference is given (but not required) to applicants whose parents are members of the Kandiyohi County Corn & Soybean Growers Association.
3. Applicant must plan to enroll in or be currently enrolled in a two, three, or four-year postsecondary education institution.
4. Applicant must provide a resume complete with a summary of education, work experience, and a summary of community or school activities he/she has participated in.
5. Applicant must answer in 250 words or less why he/she chose his/her field of study and their career plans after graduating.
6. Applicant must provide a letter of reference from a non-family member.
7. If awarded, recipient must submit his/her college transcripts upon completion of his/her 1st semester or quarter of college and must have achieved a GPA of 2.0 or better.
8. The full scholarship will be sent upon receipt of the transcript information.
Deadline: Due by May 1, 2024. The Scholarship Selection Committee will meet after the deadline to choose the recipients.

Not Yet Available: AGRICULTURE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: AgProfessionals
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must live in Minnesota. Out of state applicants must plan to attend Ridgewater College Agriculture department.
Scholarship applicants currently attending high school must be accepted at a college majoring in an Agriculture program (one-year, two-year, or four-year program). Scholarships will be awarded after proof of enrollment and during the first semester of college. Scholarship winners are not eligible for a second award.
Scholarship applicants currently attending college must be enrolled in a college majoring in an Agriculture program (one-year, two-year, or four-year program).

In a two-year program, applicants may apply both years.

Kensington Bank & Insurance Scholarship
Kensington Bank and Kensington Insurance are honored to award two $500 scholarships to two 2023 graduating seniors of BBE High School. These scholarships are based on academic achievement, community involvement, leadership and personal merit. Eligible students must meet the following criteria:
• Current 3.0 GPA or above
• Enrolling full-time in a 2-4 year college/university or vocational school
• The scholarship will be paid directly to the college/vocational school on your behalf
• Special consideration given to customers of Kensington Bank and Kensington Insurance, but not required
• Family members of bank employees and directors are not eligible
• Completed applications must also include a copy of your most recent high school transcript and must be turned in to your high school counseling office no later than April 15, 2023
Compeer Financial Scholarship
High school seniors who have an agriculture or rural background, or plan to major in an agriculture-related field at a college, university or technical college are encouraged to apply by March 15.

Stearns County Corn Growers Scholarship
Scholarship Description:
Scholarships are for one year; previous winners may not reapply.
Scholarships may be used to offset tuition, school supplies, or student housing.
Scholarships awarded for 2024-25 school year.
Funds will be issued directly to student after completion of first semester of second year of education.
Scholarship requirements:
Applicants must enter their first or second year at an accredited junior college, college, or university.
Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a degree that will be utilized in agriculture.

Jennie-O Turkey Store Scholarship
* To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant must meet both of the following criteria: 1) live with the team member who is providing the applicant with the majority of his/her financial support. If the applicant does not live with the team member, the team member will need to provide documentation that he/she provides the majority of the applicant’s financial support;
AND 2) applicant must be related to the team member in one of the following ways: natural born child, legally adopted child, stepchild, or the team member is the legal guardian of the applicant. Applicant must have the following:
A copy or certificate, verified by an appropriate school official, stating the applicant’s Grade Point Average (GPA) and high school transcript, including courses taken and grades received, from the first year of high school to date of application.
A written essay by the applicant containing no more than 500 words, answering these questions: * What is your primary goal in life? * Why did you choose that goal? * How do you expect to achieve that goal?

Eligibility Requirements: Available to any senior planning to pursue a degree in a health related profession.
Scholarship amount: $1500.00
You will need to have filled out the BBE General Scholarship to be eligible
IN ADDITION, you will need 2 letters of recommendations focused on the following:
Relationship with peers, attitude toward school/work, leadership, ambition, integrity, and intellectual aptitudes.
These letters may be from a teacher, coach, employer, or someone in the community who is not a relative.
Please turn in these letters of recommendation to Mrs. Anderson, she will then add them to the BBE General Scholarship to complete

Qualifications of Applicants:
A high school senior enrolling in post-secondary education.
A high school senior who has demonstrated academic leadership and/or potential to contribute to their community.
A high school senior who is going into one of the following fields (including but not limited to):

Agralite Scholarship: General
Agralite will award two $2,500, two $1,000, and three $500 scholarships. One of the $2,500 scholarship awards is intended for individuals interested in becoming an electrical line worker or electrician. This is open to anyone in our service territory of all ages. NEW this year, winners will be drawn randomly pending a completed application.

Allina Health Orthopedics Sports Medicine Scholarship
Allina Health Orthopedics will be offering two $2,500 scholarships, which will be awarded annually to one female and one male student athlete who intends to attend college to pursue a career in sports medicine.
Allina Health Orthopedics Sports Medicine Scholarship criteria:
1. Graduating high school senior from the state of Minnesota.
2. Planning on attending a four-year college or university within the United States.
3. Involved in an interscholastic sport each of their 4 years in high school.
4. Intending to major in a field related to sports medicine.

Minnesota Coaches Association offers several Scholarships to student athletes. Criteria includes: Must Have a GPA that would equate with an honor student.
Applicant must have participated in High School Athletics through their 12th grade year. Submit a one page letter outlining the role sports has played in your life.

Southern MN Beet Sugar Cooperative Scholarship
Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative is offering scholarships to students who plan to pursue their education beyond high school graduation.
The following scholarships will be awarded: One (1) $1,500 scholarship to an immediate family member of a SMBSC Shareholder.
One (1) $1,500 scholarship to an immediate family member of a SMBSC Employee.
Four (4) $1,000 scholarships to an immediate family member of a SMBSC Shareholder or Employee.

Minnesota Telecom Alliance Scholarship
TDS Telecom, along with other local telecommunications companies throughout Minnesota, is approaching high schools in its serving areas looking for potential scholarship winners. A Telecom Alliance panel will review the applications and select the scholarship recipients based on applicant’s grades, academic achievements and extra-curricular activities. Preference to receive the scholarships is given to students who have an interest in information or telecommunications technology and rural communities.

George W. Friedrich Foundation Scholarship
Offering up to two $500 scholarships to Lion's District 5M-8 high school senior.
George W. Friedrich was a long time member of the Lion's Club Organization. As an officer and volunteer, he consistently demonstrated his commitment to serving his community and the people within it. Based on his involvement and strong community support, the criteria for this scholarship are as follows:
Past and current community service/activities
Upper 50% of class or otherwise deserving
Must attend either a college/university or technical college.
Involvement in any extracurricular activities.
Complete application form and one page typed essay must be submitted to the selection committee. (Strongly emphasize one page.)

Agralite Scholarship: Basin
The $1,000 Basin Scholarship is open to a dependent of a member of Agralite. Applicants who are children of cooperative employees will be sent to Basin for final decision.

Jim Davis Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility:
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or better
High School senior who has applied and been accepted in a post-secondary program with a career plan to be employed in the automotive industry
Applicant must complete the Eagle Scholarship Application and Convenant.
Submit a short essay about your career goals in the automotive industry.
