7th & 8th Grade Spanish 1

Students will learn Spanish vocabulary and grammar from the Realidades 1 textbook and complete listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. They will also explore the diverse Spanish and Latin American culture!

What students need for Spanish class:

• Folder or 3-ringed binder
• Pencil
• Planner

Grade will be based on the following:

• Tests
• Quizzes
• Classwork/Homework
• Participation/Behavior
• Projects

Grade = Total Points Earned ÷ Total Points Possible × 100

Students will earn a letter grade in this class.

6th Grade Exploratory Spanish

Students will explore and develop an understanding of Spanish-speaking countries, greetings, alphabet, numbers 1-100, parts of the body, calendar, weather, colors, and classroom objects in Spanish. Students will also explore the diverse Spanish and Latin American culture!

What students need for Exploratory Spanish class:

• Folder (provided)
• Pencil

Grade will be based on the following:

• Participation/Behavior
• Classwork
• Projects

Students will earn one of the following grades:

O – Outstanding

S – Satisfactory

N – Not satisfactory
