Shows? - pregame and halftime. Easton will go on first at halftime and we will go on 2nd. 20 minutes will be allotted for halftime to do band senior recognition after our halftime show.

Details:
Arrive at 5:45pm in the front of LIBERTY HS FULLY dressed. We will let you know via the BAND app if you need to bring raincoats.
Large instruments will be trucked over from Freedom. Flutes and clarinets, bring your instruments. Large instruments will be placed on the loading dock after Friday's band class.
Parents, Please drop your son/daughter off on Linden Street. DO NOT DRIVE INTO THE BUS CHANNEL. MORE THAN LIKELY Easton's BUSSES WILL ALREADY BE THERE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BACK OUT TO EXIT.
Band members will be allowed to get food during the 3rd quarter so bring money if you wish to do that.
Parents, please plan to pick your son/daughter up between 9:00 and 9:30pm in front of Liberty.

Hello Pates. The 1st marking period is quickly coming to a close and boy have we been busy. Can you believe we are almost a quarter of the way done with the school year? Crazy!
The orchestra did an awesome job last week performing for the national honor society induction. The intonation and balance was very good. Well done! And thank you to the parents who prepared the pizza party for the orchestra members.
The band did so well today at the Hellertown Parade. It was a really long parade but the band performed so well the entire time. Nice job! Thank you to the parents who came along and helped out, especially with our medical issue. Don't worry, everyone was fine by the time we left to come home. Great job band!
The fife and drum corps performed superbly at the Miller Symphony Hall on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They were featured during the Allentown Band's annual youth concerts and did an awesome job!
This Wednesday is our next monthly FHSBOPO meeting in the band room at 7:00pm. This is an important one for anyone interested in going on the Spring music trip to the Bahamas. We will be doing registrations that night and going over as much detail as we currently have. Please plan to attend.
Friday is band senior recognition. This will take place at halftime after our halftime show. Senior parents and siblings are encouraged to participate. Here's the information:

Sunday is the Bethlehem Halloween Parade. It starts at 2:00pm. Report time will be 1:15pm. We are NOT bussing over for this parade so please plan your own transportation for that day. We will meet on one of the side streets off Union. I won't have the exact street location until probably Thursday. When I do receive it, I will post it on the BAND app.
Next week is spirit week. The band will do a combined bands rehearsal at the stadium on Tuesday, October 27 beginning at 7:00am. We will be there all of first block and then bus back to Freedom. You must find your own way to get there for this very important rehearsal. This is our one and only chance to rehearse together for the combined bands pregame show for Freedom/Liberty. The rain date for the rehearsal is Wednesday, October 28. Speaking of the 28th, that is the night of the FHS bonfire. The band will be playing for that. Report time is 6:30pm. Dress is street clothes. We will be done by 8:00pm. See below for the rest of the spirit week schedule.
To any student wanting to audition for PMEA District Band or Orchestra, please let me know by the end of this week of your intentions, what instrument, and which ensemble(s). The cost is $8 to audition. You must turn in the $8 to me by the end of the week, cash or check. If paying by check, please make it out to FHSBOPO.
