Shows? - halftime. We will MOST LIKELY go on pregame and perform our normal halftime show

Details:
Arrive at 5:00pm to FREEDOM HS half dressed. We will let you know via the BAND app if you need to bring raincoats.
Large instruments will be trucked up from Freedom. Flutes and clarinets, bring your instruments. Large instruments will be placed on the loading dock after Thursday's band class, unless you are in orchestra.
Band members will be allowed to get food during the 3rd quarter so bring money if you wish to do that.
Parents, please plan to pick your son/daughter up around 10:00pm from Freedom. Please don't park in front of the main/ADMIN entrance to Freedom. That's where the busses will drop the band off after the game.
Parents, we will send a message via the BAND APP when we leave the stadium and give you an ETA back to Freedom so you know when to head over to pick up you son/daughter.

Pickup time and location: Between 4:30 and 5:00pm at Freedom. We will send a message out via the BAND app when we leave Hellertown.

Hello Pates. Band, nice job Friday night at the game. Both pregame and halftime shows looked and sounded excellent. Thank you to those band members who were band buddies for the 8th graders. I hope all of them had a fun time and a positive experience with you.
This week is the orchestra's first public performance. Thursday, is the national honor society induction. It starts at 6:00pm. The orchestra will have a pizza party in the cafe at 5:00pm sponsored by the FHSBOPO. We begin playing prelude music at 5:40pm. We perform the national anthem and alma mater with the choirs at 6:00pm. After that you are dismissed and will receive 1 hour of community service. The dress for the event is semi formal. You can wear dark dress pants, dark socks and dress shoes, a white dress shirt and tie (bow or neck tie). You may also choose a nice dress, color of your choice, or a nice dress top and dress slacks. No jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or sneakers.
Wednesday is an early dismissal for students, dismissing at 11:00am. Despite the early dismissal, wind ensemble WILL be rehearsing at 7:00am and drumline WILL be practicing from 6:00 to 8:00pm that evening.
This week's game is against Northampton. I'm pretty sure it's their homecoming which probably means we will go on pregame. I don't have confirmation yet but that's what we are planning for, to perform our usual halftime show before the 7:00pm kickoff. Parents, plan to get there early if you wish to see the band perform. Once I have confirmation I will send the final details out via the BAND app.
Sunday, we have the Hellertown parade. This is a mandatory performance. Details for that parade are listed above.
Please add the FHS bonfire to your band event calendars. This will take place on the softball field in the back of Freedom on Wednesday, October 28. The band will report at 6:30pm, march up, play, and be done by 8:00pm. The attire is street clothes.
