What's happening this week? It's the start of school! Welcome back everyone!
First, let me begin by congratulating the band on a great band camp and excellent preview night performance. I think it was one of our strongest preview shows in years. Well done everyone! Thank you for your hard work, effort, and dedication. Thank you to our student leaders for their stellar leadership on and off the field. Thank you to our parents who organized the preview night dinner and meeting. It was a terrific way to start the year.
Great job goes out to all the students who played at convocation on Tuesday. In front of the entire district faculty and staff, they did a super job playing Stars and Stripes and the national anthem together with Liberty. Our fife and drum corps also performed as people came into the building and sounded wonderful. Well done everyone! Don't forget to put in for an hour and a half of community service for the day if you haven't done that yet.
Looking ahead:
Next week's game is home on Friday, September 4 at BASD Stadium against Parkland. Our first home game. Both pregame and halftime shows will be performed.
Have a great first week everyone! Welcome Back!
