Well done to everyone who performed on Friday at the select ensembles concert. All the groups and performers did a really good job. Thank you all for the extra time you've put into all the music and performances that went on. It was a really nice concert!
This week is Keystone testing. Algebra on Tuesday, Literature on Wednesday, and Biology on Thursday. Only students testing come into school on those days. Despite not having classes on testing days, the band/orchestra alternating schedule still moves forward. What this means is that there is no orchestra this week, or Pate Choir. Monday and Friday will be band days.

VERY IMPORTANT! ANY STUDENT WHO RENTED A TUX FROM C.E. ROTH THIS YEAR MUST RETURN THEM TOMORROW WITH YOUR NAME ON A PIECE OF PAPER SOMEWHERE ON THE TUX. Any tux not returned by tomorrow, you will need to return it to C.E. Roth yourself before Friday. Any student who rented a gown from Mrs. Volpato must return it to her tomorrow.
Any band member interested in going out for section leader for next year, we will be doing interviews during band tomorrow and Friday. Drum major candidates do not need to do a second interview for section leader. The assistant drum major for next year will be announced after school tomorrow.
This week we will be hosting Music in the Parks on Friday and Saturday. We need your help! If your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th block teachers would let you and if you're doing well in your class, please consider helping out during the day. We need stage crew, score runners, room monitors, and school hosts. Moms and dads, if you are free, we could use your help too. The school and FHSBOPO gets money for hosting so this is a good fundraiser for us but we need your help to be sussessful. You can't get community service for helping Friday but you can get it for helping on any of the Saturday dates. Cick the link below and put your name where you can help. Thank you!
