Congratulations to Ian and Benett who represented Freedom at the Northeast Region Orchestra Festival last week at Carbondale High School. I am so very proud to announce that Benett has made the PA All-State Orchestra! A tremendous achievement! Well done to both of you for making regions. Bernett is the 3rd Patriot to make All-States this year so far. Him, and Kayden Taylor and Kathryn Ryer. We have one more Region festival coming up, Region band will be on March 19 to 21 at Carlisle High School. Benett and Maxim Tiffany will be representing Freedom at that festival and wish them the best of luck. We may have a 4th Freedom student going to states after that festival.
Very important schedule change this week. The FHSBOPO meeting originally scheduled for next Wednesday ahs been moved up to this Thursday, at 7:00pm in the band room. Please mark your calendars.
Come out this Friday to hear the jazz band at the Broughal Middle School jazz festival.
County band members, reminder our last rehearsal is this Saturday at Nazareth High School starting at 12 noon. The concert will be at 7:00pm. All are encouraged to come out and hear this wonderful band. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
