USING A CLASSROOM-SHARED IPAD: If you are using an iPad that is not your own (classroom shared iPad), how do you take pictures and send them to either yourself and your teacher? How do you get them in your Google Drive? (See Cool Trick) Watch the attached Video and then MAKE SUREyou read the STEPS below.
STEPS
(1) Make sure your iPad has GMAIL app downloaded (it is free)
(2) After you are finished taking pictures with your iPad camera, OPEN GMAIL using the icon
(3) Sign into your Gmail account just like you do at school with your ArpISD Gmail username and password.
(4) You can send the pictures or items to yourself or your teacher by clicking on the Attachment Icon. Allow Gmail to have access to your pictures. You can select several pictures as long as they are not large. You have a max size of 1MB per email...so split up your pictures into several emails if you have a lot of them to send. Make sure you add an appropriate SUBJECT description
(5) Push the Send Arrow
(6) When you are finished with all your emails, Click on this icon at the bottom of the Gmail window
(7) Turn off your account by sliding blue button to off. Then click on Edit and then REMOVE
This is important so that no one else using that iPad will have access to your email!
(8) You may now wish to delete the photos off your iPad so others do not have access to them as well.
COOL TRICK
(9) Once you are in your email at school, you can open each email that has your pictures attached. When there are several items, you can move ALL the items to Google Drive by clicking on the Google Drive Icon on the right side of the email. You will then be able to search through your Drive for an appropriate folder to save the pictures in.
If you only have ONE attachment, hover over the attachment until you see the Google Drive Icon, Click on it and move to the appropriate folder in your drive to save OR create a NEW FOLDER to save in.
Click on Move or +New Folder if you need one.
