Dual Enrollment

The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School (ARGS) participates in a Dual Enrollment Program through several partnerships with local colleges and universities.  We are excited to offer our students a chance to earn college credit during their time at ARGS.

This opportunity is open to all current sophomores and juniors for the 2024-25 academic school-year who meet the criteria. A student must also demonstrate a readiness for college-level coursework by scoring a passing grade on an Entrance Essay given during his/her English 10 class.

Dual Enrollment Information was presented to all English 10/English 10 H classes on February 5-6, 2024.

All Eng10/Eng10 H students will write their English 11CC Entrance essay in class February 12-16, 2024.

Registration for Brightpoint Community College and Richard Bland College must be completed no later than Monday, March 18, 2024.
