Enrollment Opens: Monday, January 5, 2026 (@8 a.m.)
Deadline to register and submit payment:
Cohort 1 (Wednesday, June 3, 2026 @ 12 p.m.)
Cohort 2 (Wednesday, June 17, 2026 @ 12 p.m.)
Instruction Dates (Two Options)
Summer Cohort 1: June 2 – July 10, 2026
Summer Cohort 2: June 16 – July 24, 2026
Enrollment Fees:
Accelerated Courses: $375 per course
Credit Recovery: $200 (credit recovery classes are only offered in Cohort 2)
Enrollment Fees must be paid by the cohort start date using a credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover)
Time Expectations:
Time spent in your course is similar to time spent in face-to-face classes. Students can expect to spend 4 to 6 hours daily and it is vital to login daily.
Registration:
1. Complete the ARGS off-Site Credit Approval Form and turn in to the School Counseling Office before the cohort registration deadline.
· Indicate on form which Cohort (1 or 2) you would like to be enrolled in
2. If the course is approved, the School Counseling Office will register the student for the course.
3. Parent/Guardian will receive email with instructions on creating a Parent Auditor and a mentor account, and payment instructions. Student will receive login credentials from the School Counseling Office.
Courses available for credit recovery: Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, English 9-12, World History I, Virginia & U.S. History, Virginia & U.S. Government
Courses available for acceleration: Economics & Personal Finance*, Health/PE 10**
*Students will be required to take the W!SE Financial Literacy Test
**Health/PE 10 does not include Driver’s Education
As a reminder, all courses taken outside of ARGS will need to be approved by the School Counseling Department, Department Chair and the Executive Director. Paper copies of the off-site approval form are available in the school counseling office and on our website.
CCPSOnline: Summer Session 2026

Registration Closes: Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Cost for Accelerate Courses:
Chesterfield County Resident: $325
Out-of-District: $875

Step 1: Complete the online application
Visit: https://ccpsonline.oneccps.org/o/ccpsonline/page/summer-session and select “CCPSOnline Application” on the right of the screen
· The online application will need to be completed in one sitting.
· If you do not know your CCPS 7-digit Student ID number or are not a resident of Chesterfield, please use 3000000.
· Select “HS-Appomattox Regional GS” as your current school
· Please list tcook@args.us as your school counselor’s email address.
Step 2: Complete payment: bit.ly/CCPSPay
Step 3: Check the status of your application using the application tracker
Remember, your registration will not be complete until CCPS has received your verification from your home school counselor and payment (if required).

*Students will need to register for PE (0.5) and Health (0.5) for full credit (1.0) to satisfy graduation requirements
**Driver’s Education is not offered by CCPS Online for summer school
***Students taking HPE 9 are required to attend an in-person CPR & AED training session (diploma requirement). Date: July 9 or 15 from 3:30-6:30 p.m., Location: 13900 Hull Street Road
****Students taking Economics and Personal Finance will also need to pass the W!SE Financial Literacy Test at the conclusion of the summer course (diploma requirement)
