Periodization

    The nine historical periods, from approximately 1491 C.E. to the present, provide a temporal framework for the course.  The dates for these periods were chosen due to their relation to the historical patterns identified by the key-concepts.  The chart below identifies the name of each period, when it took place, and what percentage of this content will be present on the APUSH Exam.
