During library, RP fifth graders will continue on our path of a love of reading and lifelong learning, as well as becoming effective users of ideas and information. A few ways we will do this is through:
analyze the purpose and effect of media messages
evaluate available information resources
record bibliographic information about sources
define plagiarism and explain why it is wrong
complete a class research project and keep notes in Collab and NoodleTools
recognizing the Maud Hart Lovelace award
support second grade buddies with fiction shelf exploration
5th Grade (state and district supported) database enrichment ideas
Help your student locate either database below or contact Mrs. Robertson for home login info.
