Welcome back to library!Â
During library, RP third graders will continue on our path of a love of reading and lifelong learning, as well as becoming effective users of ideas and information. A few ways we will do this is through:
searching the library catalog using author, subject, series, keyword and title words
using call codes to locate nonfiction and fiction books
exploring a variety of print and online reference books including atlases, dictionaries and encyclopedias
recognizing the Maud Hart Lovelace award
support Kindergarten buddies with shelf-marker practice
