OCJH Grand Concert

What is "Grand Concert?"

Grand Concert is an exciting collaborative concert between OCJH band, orchestra and choir. It's also a fundraising opportunity to support the musical arts at OCJH. Advanced performance groups from each program get a chance to individually showcase their talents, and then we get to perform a combined song with everyone at the end. It's a great way for us to see and hear the skills of all the performing arts groups at OCJH, and we get to cheer each other on in our efforts for musical excellence!

Wednesday, December 17th

• Grand Concert is for all the ADVANCED choirs at OCJH, specifically Encore and Bella Armonia

• There are TWO homeroom rehearsals to practice the combined number: December 2 and December 16. Students come directly to the auditorium instead of homeroom or lunch after 2nd period. We rehearse and then everyone goes to 2nd lunch.

• Concert is at 6 PM - we originally had planned on 2 concerts, but now there is only ONE concert

• Cost for tickets is $5 for individuals, and $20 for the whole immediate family. Thank you for helping us to raise funds for our programs!

• Students should plan to arrive at 5:45 PM dressed in their performance uniform to take care of last-minute preparations
