Central Idea: Humans organize and interact with the world in order to adapt and gain understanding.

• Why some structures are more stable than others

On the English side, students learn about the organization of colonies. They learn the reasons for founding and why some colonies were successful and why some disappeared.Students will create a poster and compare the New England Colonies, Middle Colonies and Southern Colonies. They have to find the reasons for founding, Geography, Economy, and Government and present their findings to the class.
