Final assessment of this IB-Unit: Film project about severe weather

1st German week:

Students join groups of 3 and start to investigate about their topic (tornado, blizzard, hurricane, monsoon, taifun, floods, droughts, climate change).

Goal of this week: Gathering of information about severe weather with the help of a mind map.

2nd German week:

Students create a slide show and write a film script for the movie about the severe weather they have chosen. They should clearly explain the four questions to the topic. Please see the slide show and the film script below for more details.

Goal of this week: Students are done with the script and the slide show. They start to practice the scenes of the film.

3rd German week

Student practice the scenes of the movie and film the movie in class. It is also possible to check out a camera to film the movie at home.

Monday - Wednesday: The groups can book time slots to film the movie in the classroom (during lunch, 45 minutes after school and when my interns are in class)

Goal of this week: Presentation of a scientific film about severe weather in class
